Projects
My portfolio consists of works in the field of Industrial, Service, and Experience design. In some projects, I have tried to combine my learnings from diverse fields. I believe Design should be looked at holistically, irrespective of domain segregations. Each project listed below exhibits a unique approach in solving the problem that explore within and outside user-centric and double diamond design process.
My work from the current organisation has not been listed here due to NDA agreements. Although, I would love to talk about my learnings, if you plan on getting in touch.

Short studies
The following section showcases some of the short-term projects I undertook formally during college.

The aim was to use design to teach kids a scientific process. In this particular instance, I made a mini wind tunnel that shows flow of air. I used the setup to teach how spoilers of a car work.

This project aimed at exploring the possibilities of typography through an organic approach. The aim was to experiment with typography, physically first, beginning with the wires that allow the flexibility to forge the letters and the rigidity to preserve the forms. The necessary condition was not to cut the thread. After that I made my own font inspired by previous studies and mapped it onto the keyboard. I described my personality with help of words and, using my font, made a self-portrait.

The idea was to paint type with hands. It helped me observe details of a font and remember them. I started with painting a single letter. I chose “e“ because it is quite complicated and demands close attention to curves and proportions. Following that, I painted a word and finally, a sentence. The tools I used were Ink, paper, and brush. This exercise expanded my knowledge about typography and helped me understand how minute details contribute to expression of a font.

Personal Explorations
I enjoy making things as a hobby. Following are some of the works that showcase my personal endeavours.

This is a month-long table making project that I made during the time of COVID-19 lockdown. The product was made entirely using the very basic hand tools and techniques, as the lockdown constraints did not allow access to market. The process included: Cutting, hand planing, joining, sanding, polishing and finally finishing with multiple coats of oil and beeswax.

Due to sudden lockdown, I had to leave my Guitar and other equipment in college. I decided to build myself another cabinet and convert an old acoustic guitar into an electric using whatever spare parts and material I could find around the house.

My paintings show my attention to details, creativity, expression, and a sense of individuality, which are essential traits of a Designer.
